Supply Chain Assistant
Reports to: Purchasing Manager
Position Summary:
General Responsibilities:
Confirm purchase orders
Update delivery dates reflective to supplier feedback
Relay information to affected stakeholders on the changes being made in real time with purchase orders, delivery dates etc.
Work within the system to expedite orders
Run daily, weekly and monthly reports
Train in receiving and shipping area
Train as Jr Buyer
Other supply chain duties as they are assigned
Requirements:
Experience in an administrative role, preferably in manufacturing.
Ability to think critically and implement effective solutions
Excellent listening, written, and verbal skills
Detail-oriented and accurate with strong organization skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to interact professionally and ethically with all levels of the organization
Desire to train and grow within the Supply Chain department
