Field Service Technician
Reports to: Customer Service Manager
Position Summary:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for supporting our customers and their systems after installation and start-up. They must continue to carry the TTX values throughout their relationships with customers ensuring each issue is resolved to the best of our abilities.
This position will work both in the TTX corporate office and at our customer sites.
General Responsibilities:
Office Responsibilities:
Programming VFD’s, temperature controllers, etc.
Writing reports on service calls
Assisting customers via the phone
Field Responsibilities:
Inspecting machines and recommending updates or maintenance plans
Troubleshooting systems and resolving problems
Resolving customer issues
Requirements:
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field or equivalent experience
3 – 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience
Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to travel up to 60%
Must carry oneself in a professional manner, maintain positive interactions with both co-workers and customers
