Traveling Inventory Support Specialist

Position Summary:
This is a traveling position. Incumbents are required to travel 50% of the year. When not on the road, this position is based out of Sturgeon Bay, WI.
TTX designs, fabricates, and installs industrial finishing systems that our customers use to paint their manufactured parts. Engineering and fabrication are both housed at our headquarters in Sturgeon Bay, WI. We fabricate each custom system in sections and ship it out to the customer site to be assembled and started up. Our employees follow the system to the job site where they work on two-week rotations during the installation. Installations can take up to two years to complete.
During the installation, there are hundreds of semi-trucks delivering materials to the job site. One thing we have learned is we can help our skilled trades people focus on their primary job by providing an Inventory Support Specialist onsite to organize the incoming material, keep track of materials on hand, and ensure the installation crews have the supplies they need to stay on schedule.

Our Inventory Support Specialist will communicate with purchasing and the stockroom back in Sturgeon Bay to ensure inventory levels are sufficient.
